Your
access.log
and
error.log
files are owned by
www-data
and by group
adm
. Read permissions are not granted for rest of the world so
web10
cannot read them....

Run your web server as
www-data
and it will be ok

Or add user
web10
in group
adm
and it will be ok

Or Chmod 644 your nginx logs and it will be ok

potskytag:support.pimpmylog.com,2013-12-07:Comment/447224442018-02-15T11:43:36Z2018-02-15T11:43:36ZLogs not found

Chmod 644 did the trick.

Now I’m trying to add a custom log and am getting the same read error. I have checked file and directory permissions as follows:

namei -l /var/www/clients/client0/web10/log/error.log
f: /var/www/clients/client0/web10/log/error.log
drwxr-xr-x root root /
drwxr-xr-x root root var
drwxr-xr-x root root www
drwxr-xr-x root root clients
drwxr-xr-x root root client0
drwxr-xr-x root root web10
drwxr-xr-x root root log
-rw-r--r-- www-data root error.log

parddhillontag:support.pimpmylog.com,2013-12-07:Comment/447224442018-02-15T12:08:23Z2018-02-15T12:08:23ZLogs not found

Sorry it was an open base dir issue

parddhillon
